Boxes of parts are not the only types of
OBC shipments. Clients also use OBC for
important documents.
An embassy needed to send a passport
from Singapore to Central Africa. A
courier with a special visa was needed to
be able to enter Equatorial Guinea. Once
the customer approved our solution, the
Air Partner team was able to reposition
the special courier into Singapore to pick
up the shipment. Afterwards the courier
flew from SIN with a layover in ADD to
the destination SSG. In this case, an
important clearance was not necessary
as we were not importing commercial
goods. Upon arrival, the courier handed
over the passport to the final receiver at
the airport.

Speed is often the driver of an On Board Courier shipment.
The client requested to send a time critical shipment urgently
needed for a production line going from Germany to the US.
The Air Partner Cargo team offered a solution in 10 minutes,
and the client confirmed within 20 minutes. The courier
directly picked up the shipment shortly after the request
came in, drove to the airport and flew on a direct flight from
Frankfurt to San Francisco. After customs clearance at SFO,
the courier took a taxi to the production facility and handed
over to the shipment in time to avoid a line down situation.
