mouth of the Nuuk Fjord system, between mountains

excellent springboard from which to explore. While in
Nuuk, be sure to visit the Greenland National Museum
and the Nuuk Art Museum and delve into the city’s

perhaps the Arctic’s most photogenic
corner. Famed for surreal icebergchoked waters and rich wildlife, it’s
home to the Eqi Glacier and some
of the best whale watching in the

nature tour, cast a line for Arctic char,
kayak or paddleboard past glistening
ice sculptures, or visit rural villages, it
will not disappoint.
